Kill 4 Chicken?

Recently I had a friend jokingly ask me if i was afraid of getting a cease and desist...

I chose KFC because like McDonald's and Burger King, its presence is ubiquitous, making it a cultural reference point, an example of what is "good" and bad about consumer culture.
I hoped by juxtaposing the familiar combination of these 3 letters against an ambiguous and provocative phrase, that I might spark some questions.

Maybe I am infringing on Kentucky Fried Chickens trademark.
I think the fact that we have almost no say in the proliferation of corporate branding in our lives should give us some claim over these marks.

I call what i have done "Stripbanding". Stripbranding is the infusing of a well known brand or mark with a new, and compared to its original usage, ironic meaning.
