Kill 4 Cavalier

Call me an extremist, and this has nothing to do with the current economic crisis, but when I heard about people buying $21,000 suits, I said they should be burned in the streets (and I am not talking about the suits). That was my knee jerk reaction, but after mulling it over, I haven't strayed far from my initial feelings. In my mind, this type of self indulgence is inextricably tied to all the major issues that we as a species are trying to come to terms with. From disappearing rain forest to genocide, the constant leeching of resources; whether it's labor, mineral or etc., from the larger pool to the smaller pond, with very little flow back, puts us all at risk.

Seems like a lot of people have drank the Kool-Aid. I am never shocked or offended by this type of stuff, I walk with the assumption that this is the consensus.

Time does not align itself with brutality. Abuse must eventually succumb to its own lack of logic and waste.
